The term “silicone adult toy” does not describe one production method. Products with a similar external appearance may use different silicone materials, internal structures, molds, assembly sequences, and surface-finishing processes.

◇ Solid silicone sleeve with cold-bonded assembly
In this route, the solid silicone sleeve, plastic parts, and electronic-component assembly are produced in parallel.
The silicone sleeve is compression molded, demolded, trimmed, and—when required—finished with a surface coating before final assembly. Separately, the plastic parts are produced and the approved electronic components are assembled into the internal plastic structure. The completed silicone sleeve is then fitted to the plastic body using an appropriate cold-bonding process.

A liquid silicone rubber sleeve can be injection molded as a separate part and later assembled with the internal plastic structure.
This is still a sleeve-and-assembly route. It should not automatically be described as full-cover overmolding or one-piece silicone molding. Buyers should ask whether the LSR is produced as a separate sleeve or injected directly around a prepared insert.
◇ Full-cover LSR overmolding
In a full-cover LSR overmolding route, the plastic structure, connection features, sealing plan, electronics arrangement, and silicone mold must be considered together during structural development.
The electronic components are assembled into the internal plastic structure and the prepared assembly is sealed according to the confirmed design. It is then placed into the LSR mold so liquid silicone can be formed around the specified external area.
This route requires coordinated plastic and silicone tooling, controlled insert positioning, and a process that protects the assembled electronics during molding. It is not simply a surface-material change added after the internal product has already been designed.
No route is universally superior. The correct choice depends on the product shape, intended feel, functions, target cost, waterproofing plan, tooling budget, assembly method, and manufacturing feasibility.

- What materials, structure, functions, and manufacturing route are required?
- What is the target price and expected order volume?
- What tooling investment is acceptable?
- Which documents and market requirements apply?
- Which processes must be completed in-house?
Then shortlist relevant factories in both Guangdong and Zhejiang. Compare their engineering response, proposed process route, prototypes, responsibility boundaries, QC system, applicable documents, tooling control, and ability to reproduce the approved standard.
Province can help a buyer decide where to search. It should not decide which supplier wins the order.
